Coaching

The heart of leadership is self-expansion

That’s how the best leaders learn to identify with the long-terms interests of their organization, transforming “self-ish-ness” into “all-ish-ness”.

I work with leaders on:

  • Aligning their day-to-day experience with their highest purpose
  • Articulating their visions with crystal-clear clarity (long-, medium-, and short-term)
  • Identifying (and addressing) internal threats/blockers to their personal growth
  • Replicating all of the above within their entire organization(s)

If you want to move from imagining the characteristics and results of your future self to experiencing them, keep reading.

My mission is to witness and catalyze permanent personal transformation.

Since I want my work to be as impactful as possible, I am focused on working with leaders who – for better or worse – will have an outsize impact on the people around them. I believe we can harness that power for the good of everyone involved.

Why Executive Coaching?

I see my coaching programs as the beginning of a powerful life-long relationship. When I work with someone intensely, I inevitably end up deeply invested in their long-term success.

The process requires honesty, vulnerability, and a commitment to personal growth.

Discomfort is inevitable.

Ultimately, all power and progress rests with the client. As I coach, I provide:

  • Guidance: both general (theory, mental models) and specific (practical advice)
  • Structure: every step is ordered and understood within the context of the whole
  • Accountability: our relationship adds a level of pressure and discipline that most of us do not achieve on our own
  • Support/Challenge: the right balance to accelerate your progress towards your goals

I’ve found there are generally three types of clients who take well to coaching:

  • Those who have clear and ambitious aspirations, and want to get there as quickly and smoothly as possible.
  • Those who have a burning sense that something needs to change, and who realize that their current state of affairs is unsustainable
  • Those who are already doing well and want every possible advantage.

Coaching is not for everyone. I’ve found that coaching does not work well for people who:

  • Are totally satisfied with where they’re at, with limited motivation to change (No itch to scratch).
  • Know exactly where they want to go, what they need to do to get there, how they’re going to do it, and have total confidence in their ability to pull it off (Coach unnecessary).
  • Don’t believe they can change long-term patterns of how they show up in the world, with others, and with themselves (Fixed mindset).

My initial package lasts 6-10 weeks, depending on your motivation. I see it as an intensive introduction to a lifelong partnership. I am committed to doing everything I can to facilitate you achieving your goals.

During that time, regular calls are essential, as is staying connected via text/email between calls, and workshopping homework.

Yes, there is homework.

If you see yourself growing in power and influence and you want to derive the most benefit out of that experience, for everyone involved, get in touch.
